Nenes Basket
These rustic baskets have been used as baby carriers by indigenous communities in Central Mexico since pre-Hispanic times – a tradition that continues in present day. Traditionally, the top strap is worn across the forehead, so that parents can carry their little ones on their backs, while getting their chores done.
These stunning pieces of history would also work beautifully as wall art, a holder for magazines or dried flowers, and are available in three sizes, as noted in the drop down menu.
